Privacy Policy

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the apps you say you want Scrolltime for most. If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to send.

When you use the website or app, we may collect analytics and technical context such as page views, button taps, device and browser information, user agent, IP address, approximate location derived from network information, timezone, locale, language preferences, screen and viewport size, device pixel ratio, hardware concurrency, touch support, referral source, landing URL, and feature usage.

We may create a hashed browser/device fingerprint from this technical context to help deduplicate waitlist entries, understand demand, prevent abuse, and debug signup issues. We do not use hidden canvas or audio fingerprinting on the waitlist page.

The iOS app may use Apple Screen Time, FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity capabilities to let you choose apps, set rules, and interrupt app opens. Some Screen Time-related information may be processed on your device so the app can function.

We use information to operate Scrolltime, manage the waitlist, notify you about launch or product updates, understand which apps people want help with, improve the product, debug issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use PostHog for analytics and product measurement. PostHog may receive usage events and related metadata so we can understand what is working and improve Scrolltime.

We use Superwall for paywalls, subscription offers, and related monetization flows. Superwall may process paywall impressions, purchase-related events, and subscription state needed to present and manage paid experiences.

Payments and subscriptions may be processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple’s privacy practices and payment terms apply to those transactions.

Scrolltime is designed around sensitive phone-use context. We aim to collect only what we need to provide and improve the app.

Apple’s Screen Time APIs may limit what app and activity data is visible to us. Where possible, selected apps, schedules, shields, and activity logic are handled on device. If future features require syncing or account-based storage, we will update this policy before collecting additional data for that purpose.

Where required, we rely on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Scrolltime, performance of a contract with you, and compliance with law.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the instructions in the email or by contacting hello@scrolltime.app. You can also limit analytics through browser, device, or app settings where available.

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including waitlist management, product operations, analytics, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

Scrolltime is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information. To make a request, contact hello@scrolltime.app.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Scrolltime changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
